Scope
This California Privacy Notice supplements the Bright Ideas Company Privacy Notice. It applies to California residents and uses terms as they are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020.
It does not apply to job applicants or personnel.
Categories of personal information we collect
In the twelve months before the date at the top of this page, Bright Ideas Company may have collected the following categories of personal information:
We do not collect biometric information. We do not collect precise geolocation. We do not collect government identification numbers, financial account numbers, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, or sexual orientation. We do not collect information about consumers under 16.

- Directly from you, through forms, email, phone calls, proposals, and the engagement itself
- Automatically from your device when you visit wemakebright.com
- From our clients and partner agencies, where you are a contact on a project they brought to us
- From our service providers listed in Section 6 of the Privacy Notice
- From publicly available sources, such as a company website or a public professional profile
We do not obtain personal information from data brokers.
Why we collect it
The business purposes in Section 4 of the Privacy Notice, and the following purposes named in the CCPA: performing services, providing customer service, processing payments, ensuring security and integrity, debugging to identify and repair errors, short term transient use, internal research for technological development, and maintaining the quality of our services.
Sale and sharing
Bright Ideas Company does not sell personal information and has not sold personal information in the twelve months before the date at the top of this page.
Bright Ideas Company does not share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising and has not done so in the twelve months before the date at the top of this page.
We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Your California rights
Right to know. Right to access. Right to correct. Right to delete. Right to portability. Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, which does not currently apply because we do not collect it. Right to opt out of sale and sharing. Right to appeal a denial. Right against discrimination for exercising any of these.

Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 lets California residents ask about personal information disclosed to third parties for those parties' own direct marketing. Bright Ideas Company does not disclose personal information for that purpose.
